Biography

I find joy everyday learning new things, expanding my world view and getting to know those around me. I have been lucky enough to share this wonder with families and children in every organization I have worked with. Throughout high school, I juggled working as a nanny and working as a tour guide at Cave of the Mounds. During my summers in college, I worked with families and children at Sugar Creek, a camp located in a little place called Ferryville, Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2021 with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Child and Youth Care minor alongside a French minor.  After graduating from college, I spent a year at Sugar Creek working as year-round programming and communications staff. For close to a year, in 2023-2024, I lived in Fatick, Senegal, participating in a cultural exchange and volunteer program where I learned about and worked with community-led preschools.   I love working at the Child Development Lab and being able to interact with all ages, promote learning opportunities for UW Students at the CDL, and assist in research happening at the CDL.
