My name is Ashley Malyvanh and I am currently a senior at UW–Madison and majoring in Human Development & Family Studies. I am originally from Rockford, Illinois and have three lovely cats named Nalia, Appa, and Suki. I find enjoyment in cooking new recipes for my friends, building Lego sets, and reading books in my free time. 

I became a part of the CDL because I believe childhood is such a fascinating time in all of our lives and we can see so much growth during this period. I also enjoy interacting with children with different personalities and backgrounds because they bring so many unique perspectives and ways of thinking.
