Sydnie Morgan

My name is Sydnie Morgan, and I began my journey at the CDL in 2021 as an intern in the Honeybee Room while earning my degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduation, I continued working in early childhood education and later explored the field of child welfare.

In the summer of 2023, I realized my true passion remained with teaching and the CDL community. I was thrilled to return that year as the Lead Toddler Teacher in the Chipmunk Room!

I find the most joy in sharing books with children—their curiosity and insightful questions never cease to amaze me. My experience in the infant classroom helped me understand how essential relationship-based caregiving is for young children. When they feel secure and cared for, they are confident and ready to explore their world.

Outside of work, I live in Oregon with my husband, Jameson, our two cats, Misha and Declan, and our recently rescued pup, Rosie. I enjoy baking, hiking, listening to audiobooks, coloring, and taking Rosie on long walks.
