Dragonfly Student Assistant

Hello! My name is Eastlan Shields, and I will be a student assistant in the Dragonfly Room for the Fall 2026 semester. I am currently a senior in the nursing program here at UW–Madison. When I graduate in the spring, I want to become a NICU, postpartum, or pediatric ER nurse. Some of my hobbies include reading, baking, being in nature, traveling, and photography. In past semesters, I have worked as a student assistant in the Dragonfly room and as a float student assistant. I am excited to continue learning more about working with children and be in the Dragonfly room again as I complete my final year of undergraduate education!
